Jim has recently appeared on “MY THERAPIST SEZ”
“My Therapist Sez” is a monthly event created to give you and your family the tools, resources and space you need to work through life’s difficulties, ask a trained therapist those tough questions and improve your life and relationships. Each month, we invite excellent psychotherapists and medical doctors to teach on various important life topics and we include time after every presentation for the audience to respond and ask those tough questions. Some of the many topics we cover include anxiety, depression, childhood, parenting, addictions, loss, trauma, stress, sexuality, marriage and more.
In this appearance of “My Therapist Sez”, Dr. Jim Coil addresses the topic: “Addiction Intervention: Speaking Truth in Love” during which he and another panelist, Erin Cragin, LMFT discuss setting healthy boundaries and the concept of intervention with challenging family members or loved ones, particularly those struggling with chemical and or alcohol dependency. Following the presentation, there is a panel discussion and responses to questions posed by the moderator Dr. Don Welch as well as those asked by the audience in the auditorium and those viewing by live-stream.
In this appearance on “My Therapist Sez”, Dr. Jim Coil, joined by Dr. Julie Hayden discuss the topic: “Addiction Free-Behavior.” Dr. Hayden provides a brief presentation. This is followed by discussion, role-playing and questions posed by the moderator, Dr. Don Welch as well as those asked by the audience in the auditorium and those viewing by live-stream.
